Norman Course: Pro Tips

Hole 1 - Par 4
This short par 4 will help get the round off to a good start. Avoid the left side hazard. A right center tee shot will leave the best angle to this elevated green. A 200 yard tee shot should leave you a short to mid iron approach.

Hole 2 - Par 4
With hazards down both sides, finding the fairway is the key to any chance of getting to the putting surface on your approach. Left center of the green is a great shot avoiding the right hazard.

Hole 3 - Par 4
A great risk reward par 4 for the big hitters, but a misplaced tee shot makes bogey or worse a reality. The safe play is 200 yards off the tee with a wedge to the appropriate area of the green. Pin hunters beware, missing the green leaves no easy up and down.

Hole 4 - Par 5
As the #1 handicap, this hole requires length and accuracy. Avoid the right side with a left center tee shot. A very straight and long layup shot is needed to give you the most manageable approach shot to a large and well guarded green.

Hole 5 - Par 3
Probably the hardest tee shot on the course! Don't be short or left. A right center tee shot is best and Par is a great score.

Hole 6 - Par 4
A straight forward tee shot, anything in the fairway is good. On the approach shot don't be short, bunkers and hazard guards the front of the green.

Hole 7 - Par 4
A very intimidating tee shot with water guarding the entire right side. Aim towards the far fairway bunker and make a confident swing. From the fairway a shot to the left center of the green is prudent to avoid the water.

Hole 8 - Par 5
Off the tee it is time to let the Big Dog eat on this monster hole. Likewise your second shot needs to be as close to the green as possible for the best chance to hit this very small, elevated target. Middle of the green in three is great and Par is a good score.

Hole 9 - Par 3
This beautiful water hole is the signature Par 3. It is a very large multitiered green. If you are not within 20 feet of the hole it may be a tough 2 putt.

Hole 10 - Par 4
This is the start of a tough 3 hole stretch. Avoid the left side of the fairway with a right center tee shot to give the best angle into the hole. Once in the fairway, be safe with the approach shot and avoid a tough up and down from the bunkers.

Hole 11 - Par 4
A narrow driving hole. Laying back short of the fairway bunkers leaves a long shot into an uphill shallow green. On the approach shot take a bit more club because short of the green is in the hazard.

Hole 12 - Par 5
A huge tee shot is not required on this Par 5 but accuracy is essential. Something in the fairway about 220 yards off the tee helps set up a straight-forward lay up with a long iron to clear the hazard and leave a short iron or wedge into the two tiered green. Be on the correct tier for a chance at birdie.

Hole 13 - Par 3
A straight forward par 3 with a multi-tiered green and slightly uphill. Finding the correct tier of the green typically produces a good score.

Hole 14 - Par 4
Another driveable par 4 for the big hitters. The approach shot here is difficult. The green is small and very undulating.

Hole 15 - Par 4
Despite a big fairway, a tough approach shot will test even the longest hitters. A slightly uphill well guarded green favors a longer shot.

Hole 16 - Par 4
This is a very difficult bottleneck par 4. Hazard is both right and left off of the tee and the approach shot has to be very precise to hit the green. Par here might win a few bucks.

Hole 17 - Par 3
A medium length par 3 with hazard left. The green is multitiered and being on the correct tier gives a good chance for a par or birdie.

Hole 18 - Par 5
A great finishing hole with a very generous fairway. Hazard down the entire right side, long hitters have a chance to get home in 2. Otherwise play for position, favoring a good angle and distance on the left side of fairway. Knock it tight and finish strong.

RTJ Course: Pro Tips

Hole 1 - Par 4
A nice starting hole with plenty of room off the tee. Tee shots that miss in the right rough may end up in the "Ballmuda Triangle" a very hard place to find a golf balls and a bad angle into the green.

Hole 2 - Par 4
A dogleg right par 4. The tee shot is demanding, left center of the fairway gives the best angle into the green. The green is multitiered, very shallow and plays uphill.

Hole 3 - Par 4
This is a driveable par 4 for the big hitters. From the front of the blue tee it is about 250 yards. The smart play is to put it in the middle of the fairway and attack with a short wedge.

Hole 4 - Par 3
A tough long par 3. Guarded by a deep bunker on the right. The middle of the green is the recommended play.

Hole 5 - Par 5
A par 5 with out of bounds left and fairway bunkers to the right. Down the center is the best play every time but if that is not possible a miss to the right would be the second best option.

Hole 6 - Par 4
An uphill par 4 that runs adjacent to the 5th hole. Once again out of bounds left and open space to the right. A right center tee shot is ideal. Attempt to hit the correct portion of the green on the approach.

Hole 7 - Par 3
A short par 3 well guarded with bunkers. Being on the the correct section of the green is paramount if you are trying to make a good score.

Hole 8 - Par 5
Here is your best chance for birdie or eagle. Bust one down the left center speed slot and knock a mid to long iron on the green. If you are in position for eagle get it to the hole or regret it for the rests of the round.

Hole 9 - Par 4
The "Ballmuda Triangle" is in play once again. Anything in the right rough is a hard find and a very hard approach shot. Play up the left center of the hole for the best chance at par.

Hole 10 - Par 4
A short par 4 with some options. If you are an average hitter aim down the middle but if you can bomb it aim over the tallest tree and let it rip just don't miss left.

Hole 11 - Par 5
A nice long par 5 guarded by a hazard down the entire left side. Playing down the right center of the hole would be best. If you have played 2 good shots you should have a short iron or wedge into the green.

Hole 12 - Par 4
This is a great risk reward par 4. The left side carry requires about 240 yards off the tee but will leave a short shot in the green. Tee shots to the right will leave a mid to long iron into the green. This is a tough hole where par is a great score.

Hole 13 - Par 3
A very pretty, down hill par 3 with hazard guarding the front of the hole. Distance control is necessary for a good score here. It does not play as downhill as it looks so club down by half a club at most.

Hole 14 - Par 4
Dogleg right par 4 with hazard down the entire right side. Anything left of the fairway bunker is a good play. The second shot will leave a mid iron approach to an uphill green.

Hole 15 - Par 4
A medium length par 4 with water guarding the right side of the fairway. The smart playing is to be short of the fairway bunker on the left and that should leave a short iron to an uphill green.

Hole 16 - Par 5
This is a medium length par 5 and your last good chance for a birdie. Play your tee shot just short of the fairway bunker and lay your next shot up to your desired approach distance. If you are a big hitter you might be able to get home in two shots.

Hole 17 - Par 3
This par 3 is an intimidating tee shot entirely over water. The prevailing wind tends to blow towards the tee box. Taking half a club extra is recommended.

Hole 18 - Par 4
The final par 4 is a monster. Many matches come down to this hole and the side that makes par will win most of the time. Play the tee shot out to the right center of the fairway. The approach shot from here will be a mid to long iron. When determining the club add one or maybe two clubs for the amount of uphill.

Sharkbite Course: Pro Tips

Hole 1 - Par 4
A straight forward par 4 with a well guarded green. If you are able to hit the fairway with your tee shot you should have a good chance for a par.

Hole 2 - Par 3
A nice par 3 that shares a green with the 8th hole. This green is guarded by a very large bunker on the right and a bunker on the left. A tee shot in the middle of the green should give you a good putt at birdie.

Hole 3 - Par 4
One of the toughest par 4's on the course. The entire right side of the fairway in guarded with lateral hazard and the left side is guarded by out out bounds.

Hole 4 - Par 3
A slightly down hill par 3 with bunkers surrounding most of the green. Play a tee shot onto the correct half of the green and a par is almost certain.

Hole 5 - Par 4
A narrow down hill par 4 with hazards right and left. If you are feeling good unleash the driver and go for the green.

Hole 6 - Par 4
A pretty par 4 with a hazard short off of the tee and on the left side of the hole. The best play here is into the right center of the fairway. Then play to the center of the green.

Hole 7 - Par 3
A par 3 with water down the entire left side. The safe play is to the right side of the green. If you happen to miss on this side you will be chipping from a nice collection area.

Hole 8 - Par 3
A par 3 that uses the other side of the the double green from the 3rd hole. There is a hazard left and bunkers guarding both sides of the green.

Hole 9 - Par 4
The longest hole on the course tipping out at 420 yards. Hit a good tee shot down the left center of the fairway and you will have a good approach into a small green.
